Reach for the Moon Stencil

What if reaching for the moon was simply a matter of willpower?

The Reach for the Moon Stencil depicts a child attempting to bring the moon closer using just a rope. With his feet firmly planted on the ground, his body leaning back, and his arms outstretched, he seems determined not to let go.

This poetic and humorous scene brings a well-known expression to life. It evokes the strength of a child's imagination, the ability to believe that anything is possible, even the most extravagant dreams.

With determination, innocence, and whimsy, this little character reminds us that the greatest adventures sometimes start with a completely wild idea.

The contrast between the small silhouette of the child and the vast crescent moon gives this composition its strength. The taut rope creates a dynamic diagonal that connects the two elements and highlights the boy's effort.

This stencil lends itself to numerous artistic interpretations. On a minimalist background, it emphasizes the poetry of the scene. Paired with textures, paint splatters, abstract patterns, or an urban setting, it can become the focal point of an original Street Art creation.

Let your imagination run wild by experimenting with colors, material effects, and overlays to bring your own universe to life.

Made in our workshop from professional-quality plastic, this stencil is washable, reusable, and available in various sizes. It can be used with acrylic paint, spray paints, brushes, or sponges on many suitable surfaces.

A small visual story that invites us to look further and believe in the boldest dreams.

The stencil, a starting point for creation

A stencil doesn't dictate the colours, the style or the final result. It can be used to integrate a portrait into an abstract painting, create textures, add graphic effects or enrich a composition. Acrylic, spray paint, brushes, drips and layered colours: every artist can combine techniques and interpret our designs in their own way, to create artworks that truly reflect them.

Frequently asked questions

Here are the essentials to help you order with confidence.

Yes! Made from flexible, durable Mylar, our stencils are designed to be used hundreds of times, with both acrylic paint and spray paint. Their sturdiness lets you create again and again without having to replace the stencil after each use.

After testing several materials and thicknesses in our workshop, we chose Mylar around 0.20 mm thick for its balance between flexibility and durability. Thicker films tend to retain more of the curl from being manufactured on a roll, which makes them harder to lay flat. Our choice makes it easier to work on canvas while maintaining excellent durability.

With spray paint, systematic cleaning is usually not necessary: thin layers of paint can dry on the stencil without affecting its reuse. If paint builds up, especially with thick acrylic, you can gently clean your stencil with lukewarm water or a product suited to the paint used.

Yes. Our stencils can be used on canvas, wood, walls, paper and fabric, with a paint suited to the surface. Their flexibility makes them easy to position for creating paintings, murals and many decorative projects.
